Ladies on Lunch

For the last few months of last year we (bloggers and tweeters) have been meeting up for lunch once a month – well we try to most months.
Wenchy took over the reigns as she is so very good at organizing a small get together. She knew it needed some structure though and so suggested we start something as the “social side” of Female2Female. I was more than happy to do this as I love me a small get together.
We brainstormed and eventually came up with a name and Ladies on Lunch was born.
Tanya from Snapping Turtle designed us a stunning logo that we will ask everyone to show before they will be allowed access to each lunch. (only kidding – maybe). Isn’t it so very pretty?
Our first lunch will be held on Sunday 31st January at the Centre of the Earth in Modderfontein at 13h00.
Each month we will choose a new venue that is child (and partner) friendly. Our aim is to make this a fun time for everyone including partners, children, friends, and family – anyone you want to bring along. If there is a need we may launch a “Partners of Ladies on Lunch” support group :-p
The only requirement that we have is that with each meet you bring with you a tea cup and saucer. We will then do a swap with everyone who is there.
We have started a Facebook page and will try get together a proper mailing list. Please join the Facebook group and if you have not as yet received a mail from myself or Wenchy then please leave a comment and I will grab your mail address from there and add it to the list.
We also have the code for you to add the badge to your blog – it links back to the Facebook group – if you would like to add the badge then let me know and I will send you the code! (Thanks Jeanette for the help with it)
Wenchy and I have lots and lots of plans and ideas for this small group so please join us – promise we will make it loads of fun!
