Working from home
How long have you been working from home?
Since March of 2009
What made you decide to start up a home-based business that you did?
It’s something I have been wanting to do for a while and all the ingredients fell into place at exactly the right time, so I took a chance and am loving it!
How do you keep what you do at the office separate to what you do at home since your office is your home?
Well my husband and I are still trying to figure that out , as he runs his business part time, he often comes home and goes straight to work, I just shift my office to his and we chat and work together , we’ll figure it out one day!
What is the best thing about working from home?
NO TRAFFIC IN THE MORNINGS!
Do you get to have sick days?
Absolutely, those are usually days when I have made no sales!
What do you miss about working for someone else?
The fun, laughter and gossip with co-workers
What one life lesson have you learnt as a result of working from home?
Self discipline, its too easy to choose not to wake up in the morning or watch soapies all day
Where did the name come from?
My adorable , colourful and inspirational niece, Kunashe ( we all cal her Kuna)
Where to from here? What are you future plans?
We are launching a boy’s wear range this year, expanding our flower girls and accessories collections, participating in some charity events- it’s a busy year!

“Singing in the Rain” with Gene Kelly made in 1951! I’ve seen it a million times and drove my parents crazy asking for tap dancing lessons that lasted 1 month.

A secluded Cape Town beach, at sunset, in the middle of summer, and a great steak with chips and Red wine!
If you could walk a mile in anyones shoes for a day – who would it be?
My niece, Kuna who was born with one arm and finds the most innovative ways of doing things with one hand that we thoughtlessly do with two . I wonder how that little mind works….

What worries you most about the future of South Africa?
Corruption will kill all creativity, competition and innovation.

A new home
