She is involved in a long-term relationship (a relationship with many, many serious issues) and somehow she got it into her head that once they have been declared husband and wife by the pastor [...]

WHY? Why do women not like them so much?
I was part of a discussion a few years ago on a parenting forum about [...]

Now that I am in a proper relationship I have realised just how strong a man needs to be to date a single mom.
When you are in a relationship that doesn’t involve children you get to put the other person first. You get to enjoy each other alone all the time.
Its not like that when [...]

Today I am grateful for

To be able to fall asleep next to an awesome person.
Laughter with new friends.
Pretty earrings, painted nails and proper dresses

It was a lovely evening. Lots of laughs and fun times
About half way through the evening though something happened that transported me back [...]

We held our Christmas Party on Saturday at Othwandeni.
It was a success.

There was more than enough food, everyone got a gift (and only one girl child was not happy [...]

Today I am thankful for
My son. Despite my disorganisation and despite the chaos he has to endure daily – he manages to still get an award for OUTSTANDING achievement. I could not be prouder.
The flexibility of my job. I get to attend my children’s school functions, pop out to buy forgotten gifts.
My boyfriend – that [...]
Leaving is not the easy way out

Some have had a fight with their husbands and think they want to leave. Others have been beaten and know they should leave. Some are tired and think it will be easier to leave. Others still, look at [...]
